Birthday

I know there are many more, but here are 33 Things that I'm Thankful for at 33.

In no particular order....

1. God-Without God none of the rest of the list would be possible

2. Trevor.  This good looking guy is the best chicken wrangler, bread making, master gardener, advise giver, fixer of anything you can find. He is an all around generous guy and is a much better father and husband than I could have ever imagined.  And yes, he can lay in a puking child's bed and not get sick himself (until 2 days later, thanks for taking the bullet on that one!).  I'm a lucky girl :)

3. This beautiful, intelligent girl is growing up so fast.

4. This adorable, sassy girl is the most affectionate child.

5. This cute baby is such a happy, sweet girl.

6. Izzy. She is the best behaved dog I know.

7. Chickens. These birds give us food without asking for anything but a small amount of food and water.

8. Grandparents.  My children's grandparents exemplify what grandparents should be like.  When Trevor and I become grandparents we will have our work cut out for us!

9. Mom and Dad.  My parents are very loving and present parents/grandparents, I'm so very thankful they help us out as much as they do with the kids. And the kids kinda like them too :)

10. Ned and Teresa.  These two are so loving and affectionate with the kids.  I feel very lucky they are in my life and that they raised their son so well.

11. Tia Jonelle, Tio Jon, Aunt Tamara, Uncle Mike, and Uncle Nate.  We love having you all as part of our kids' lives.

12. Nieces and Nephew.  I love that our kids and their cousins are so close in age and play so well together!

13. The garden.  I love having fresh fruits and vegetables all summer. We are blessed to have the space to do it and I'm lucky to have a husband who works so hard to make it possible.

14. Our house.

15. The baby swing.  Silly I know, but has saved me many backaches.

16. Netflix.

17. Our church.

18. My body.  It allowed me to carry and deliver 3 healthy babies and nurse them successfully.

19. Afternoon dance parties.

20. Cars.  I'm very lucky to be able to go somewhere with the kids during the day if I want and we have two cars that run very well.

21.  Sleep.

22.  Being healthy.  None of us have medical problems, and I'm so grateful we only need to go to the doctor for healthy checkups!

23. Trevor's job.  Allows me to stay at home and take care of these kiddos.  I've been very lucky to be a stay at home mom for the past 3.5 years.  Although my career undoubtedly has taken a hit for it, it has been worth it.

24. The camera.  Allow me to take pictures of our kids and document them growing up.

25.  Motherhood.  I'm so glad I have been able to share my mothering experience with my cousins, Tamara and my sister.  I think it makes it so much better when its shared (and at times commiserate with one another).

26. and 27.  Sisterly love.  For my own and for the relationships that are growing before my eyes.

28.  MOMS group (Moms offering Moms support). They set up playdates, gymnastics classes, coupon clipping, recipe making groups and gives me a chance to get out of the house and talk with other adults!

29. Coffee.  I just recently started drinking, and I'm loving it!  Brown teeth here I come :)

30.  Good friends. Even if we don't talk or email for awhile, its like it was when we left off.
31.  Hand-me-downs.

32.  Helpers in the kitchen.  Rarely do I cook by myself anymore. With the help of these sous chefs I can complete the task in double the time :) But, I'm glad they want to help.

33.  Another year, I hope its as good as the last.

....Look who's learning the smile/head tilt :)
